A dickey style cowl for 13” dolls (designed with Hazel Village animal and people dolls in mind). Cowl is worked from the top down, starting in the round and then split to work front and back panels.

Gauge: Approximately 28sts x 34 rows = 4”x 4” (10cm x 10cm) in 2x1 rib (relaxed and unblocked). Gauge is approximate because a slight variation should not affect the finished object.

Suggested yarn: Approximately 13g (35y/32m) of dk yarn. Or 30y(27m) each of a fingering weight held together with a strand of mohair. I found that anywhere from a sport weight, dk, or worsted worked fine for this pattern. Use your left overs!!

Suggested Needle: US4 (3.5mm) needle in preferred way to knit in small circumference such as dpn or a 40”+ circular to work in magic loop. My fave is Addi Flexiflip
