The Cryptogram Sweater is worked top down in the round. Short rows are worked to make the back fit better. Rib design is worked all over the yoke through a simple combination of knit and purl stitches that all together looks like some kind of round cryptogram or secret code.

After Yoke is finished sweater is worked in stockinet stitch with a some increasing and more short-rows to a give better fitting shape end with I-Cord Bind - off method.

Body and sleeves are worked in stockinet stitch down to the bottom edge then finished with an I-cord bind-off.

The Cryptogram Sweater can also be worn inside out : the yoke will be the same on both sides, but the body will depend on what you will choose: in stockinet stitch or in garter Stitch

Cryptogram Sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn held together.
