This clutch features a zigzag tapestry crochet design that can be made with either a one flap or two flap closure, or you can add a zipper if desired. Directions are included for a braided wristlet or beaded version. If you would like to make a larger version or a shoulder bag directions are included. Two or three colours are needed for the tapestry crochet work. If you’re making a larger version feel free to add more colours.

Supplies:
4mm hook
About 120yd cotton (total)
Darning needle for sewing ends
Scissors
1 or 2 buttons/beads for closure
Stitch marker or scrap yarn
Optional items: Fabric for lining, zipper, beads

Yarn required:
Worsted or aran weight cotton yarn (paintbox cotton aran, bernat handicrafter, 24/7 cotton). You will need at least 2 colours for the design to show up.
If using a heavier weight yarn (ie. Home maker dec) be aware that your pouch will be larger and you will need to use the recommended hook size on your yarn label
