The dahlia bucket hat is an intermediate pattern, but uses detailed explanations to accommodate all levels of crochet! The pattern includes instructions to make sizes: XS/S/CHILD, M/OSFM, & L/XL

This project takes around 3 hours total. You will be using techniques such as clusters, puff stitches, along with sc, hdc, & dc stitches. You will be creating and then attaching the various parts of the hat. Pattern is written in US terminology. YARN: Worsted weight (4) yarn in 2+ colors (flower color for the dahlias, and square color for the rest of the hat)
Note: Using a stretchier yarn, such as acrylic, will give you a “puffier” flower. Acrylic is what is used in the example photos. You can use any type of fiber, just note it may look slightly different!
HOOKS: Your usual hook choice for weight 4 yarn (I use 4.5mm, but I am a loose crocheter. See gauge section for more info)
Plus 6-8mm hook for the chain tie
OTHER: Darner needle, scissors, stitch marker (optional)
