Nothing signals a new beginning like the first blooms of Spring, like sunny white daisies popping up across a meadow, opening to reflect the sunshine in their yellow centers. Fittingly, the daisy is seen as a symbol of innocence, happiness, and new life.

This oversized boxy tee with a dimensional daisy motif is the perfect layering garment for the transition to Spring weather, or wear it year-round to add a bit of sunshine to your wardrobe.

Gauge and Sizing:
This pattern is written to be fully customizable to your own measurements. The pattern includes measurements for one sample size as a beginning reference point, with tips to customize the size of your garment to fit perfectly. I write my patterns this way to give you the creative freedom to make your garment to fit your own size and style preferences.

Because of this emphasis on measurements, your gauge will not impact your sizing (the gauge swatch is just for reference), so feel free to experiment with hook sizes until you achieve your preferred fabric. If you plan to block your garment, plan for a slight increase in measurements after blocking. To account for growth that may happen after wet blocking, particularly if using yarn with fibers that tend to stretch, fully block your swatch and observe how the fabric stretches. Adjust measurements as you work the pattern accordingly.

Sample size and intended fit:
The design is created with a relaxed, super oversized fit. The sample was made to fit a 38” chest with about 20” positive ease, meaning that the circumference of the finished tee is 20” larger than the intended wearer’s chest circumference. You can adjust the size and amount of ease of your tee to create your preferred fit.

Sample garment measurements:
32” wide, 20” long, 10” neckline width, 9” sleeve width, 2.5” sleeve length.
to fit 36-40” chest circumference with 18-22” positive ease.
