A single-wrap cowl with a wavy lace pattern. It’s knit in the round on a 5mm 12-inch circular needle (or you could use dpns if you prefer) using a DK weight yarn. The cowl is named for my lovely friend Danielle, from whom I received a surprise parcel one day. She had some yarn that she felt I could make good use of, so she packaged it up and sent it to me. I always get excited at the acquisition of new yarn, but when it arrives in a surprise parcel it’s extra special! I drew my inspiration for the lacy waves from the fact that Danielle lives by the sea.

The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the lace design.
