The Darling Baby Dress Coat could be worked in Acrylic or wool blend yarn for winter wear or cotton for spring or fall wear.

The dress coat could be for everyday wear or for special occasions. Christmas - In red and white you would have yourself an adorable Mr or Mrs Clause, In green and white Santa’s little elf
Spring/ Easter - In any pastel you would have the perfect little Sunday coat.
The color possibility’s are endless

The color combination you see here is worked in Mainstays craft yarn in the color cilantro and trim in red heart color White

This adorable little number has a skill level of
advanced beginner to intermediate.

some stitches used - Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Twisted sc, sc around post, and Pleat Stitch.

There are photo instructions for the Pleat Stitch, as well as a Video link, to better understand this simple to execute but complicated to explain stitch.

At the moment the only size available is 18 to 24 month. As other sizes become available the pattern will be updated.

Gauge:
7 dc stitches x 4 Rows = 2” x 2”
Working with a 5 mm/H hook

You will need a 5 mm/ H hook, (or hook to obtain gauge) yarn needle, stitch markers, 1 or 2 colors of Worsted weight yarn, buttons and thread.

Project takes approximately 700 yards of yarn and 6 hours to complete.
