Pattern tested!

The Darling Baby High Tops are worked in hdc and sc. In 3 parts high top, tongue/toe, and sole. With detailed written instructions accompanied by picture tutorial.

There are also instructions on how to make and add a rubber sole so they can be worn outside.

I wanted these high tops to be very adaptable, so to change the size… just change your hook and thread. If you want adult size move up to worsted, want newborn move down to thread.

to find your gauge you will measure the foot you want to make the shoe for. Work the sole and measure it. If the sizes match you are good to go…. if not adjust as needed.

size 10 crochet thread for the smaller sizes (baby)
size 3 crochet thread for the medium sizes (toddler)
worsted weight for the larger sizes (adult)

You will need 3 colors to work with.
