The Dazey Bag
This bag is worked flat and bottom up in stockinette stitch. Two pieces make up the front and back of the bag, and a long strip is knitted to make up the bottom and sides. Increases are made on the sides of the bag in the first few rows to round the edge. After seaming the pieces, stitches are picked up around the opening and an I-Cord edge is worked. The strap is worked by picking up stitches on either side of the bag, and worked upwards, then seamed in the middle. Embroidered flowers are stitched with a tapestry needle and scrap yarn.
