The Dazey Bandeau
This top is worked bottom up in the round in stockinette stitch. Increases are made on the sides of the body to shape the waist in even intervals, and equals 3.25” increased from cast-on to bind-off. Straps are worked in rib stitch after placing the stitches on hold while binding off in a stretchy bind off, then seamed at the back of the piece. Embroidered flowers are stitched with a tapestry needle and scrap yarn.
19 sts x 30 rows = 4”/10cm
Please check your stitch/row gauge before beginning, otherwise your top will end up larger or smaller than intended. Change needle size if needed.
The piece is intended to have 2” of negative ease.
