This scarf pattern uses the new distitch created by Assia Brill. She has a book out called Distitch https://assiabrill.com/knitting-2/distitch/ where she uses her own invented technique to add extra texture. I tried it on a selvedge and loved it so much that I used it on a scarf pattern too.

I provide two types of yarn. With the chunky yarn, you can use two different colourways for some variation.

With the Stylecraft yarn, one ball of 100g was enough.

The pattern begins with garter stitch, transitions into a distitch rip and then back to garter stitch at the back. The variation and the distitch provide a lovely thick texture.
