The Diamond Blanket knitting pattern belongs to The Simple Diamond Collection. This collection will include this blanket, The Diamond Cardigan and The Diamond Hat. The Diamond Cardigan and The Diamond Hat will be released in the coming months.

This blanket was inspired by one of my favourite rugs in my house. Every once in a while, I had thought that it would make a great knitting pattern. One day, I sat down to design this blanket mimicking the rug. And honestly, it took a few tries to get it right. When you move from a cable section to a non cable section, the difference in stitches has to be perfect.

After several tries, I was extremely happy with the completed design. There is something inspiring about this cable stitch. I also love the stitch pattern in between. A perfect calm section to counteract the bold cable section.

This pattern is fully written and fully charted. You get to chose which technique you follow.

As usual, I wasn’t happy producing a pattern with only one size. This pattern comes with 6 different size blankets. There is a size for all occasions!
