The Drip Cardi

(Tihehe Cardi is short for Cardigan, in Australia, Gday mate!)

Knitted in a seamless construction.

With a deadly drippy colour-work at the bottom of the body and sleeves.

Drippy Cardi is a pattern that is designs to use up bigger leftovers to make 1 cohesive piece. 

It’s unusually big for an extra cuddly vibe.

Starting with making a back panel, in a European style, where you then add each of the shoulders. Then you’ll be joining all these parts together and casting on the underarms so you can rhythmically knit back and forth. Then your colour work starts to keep it fun whilst knitting the body back and forth.

The joy of this oversized fit is that the neck is pulled in by the double strand garter knit collar.
Bring in the light body and arms of the cardigan simply sit on your shoulders effortlessly.

It designed to be about 30%-50% bigger to the full chest measurements.

(And the smallest size could make it for an older kid, I made one for my kid.)

This is a fit and gauge that doesn’t always get designed and one that I really enjoy knitting.

This is such a joy to knit because it uses less yarn it goes so quickly. I’m so looking forward to you knitting it!
