Ever tried to crochet a beanie only for it to come out small enough for a hobbit or big enough for an orc? Well, crochet family, we’ve got you! This is The Easiest Beanie… ever. The pattern includes instructions for two beanies and two brim options, so you can mix and match. The beanie is crocheted top down and is made to measure in sizes preemie to XL. Our examples use Aran and DK weight yarn. You will need to know how to work in joined rounds.

Our patterns are written a little differently with pattern beginner and neurodivergent crafters in mind. The abbreviated instructions are followed by a breakdown in italics making it easier to understand what you need to crochet in each round (note: this pattern has no abbreviations). If you’ve had trouble reading crochet patterns in the past, we hope that you’ll give ours a try!
