We have used one main colour and one contrast. The contrast is for the bobble and the knit ribbon. Feel free to use another ribbon form, not knit.
Our first green version was made with the organic nettle yarn, as we felt it very appropiate to a tea pot cover.
Since then we have made and sold many versions, often even in white aran wool.
The Aran weight Sliabh Liag merino works very well and set off the colour pops too.
We made mum one in the County Donegal football colors of green and gold or yellow.
