The Farmer’s Cowl is the second pattern in my easy series Patterns for Homesteaders (and Everyone Else!) It is a quick and very easy knit and an essential item for winter layering. It also makes a fantastic gift for anyone who likes to be cozy. Choose the softest yarn that you can find! I used a chain-plied handspun alpaca blend, but any soft bulky or heavy worsted-weight yarn will do.
