Designed by myself, this versatile cowl is part of a series of cowls I’m doing inspired by New York, my home state. They are designed to be comfortable, fun to knit, and perfect to wear with a stylish wool coat or a denim jacket.

The Fifth Avenue Cowl was named after the best street of shopping in all over NYC, and possibly the world! This avenue runs from Washington Square up to 143rd St. Some of the most prestigious and well-known stores in the world can be found here. This cowl is inspired by the classic style of Winter outerwear that is featured in all of the great department stores.

Also worth noting, this is a reversible cowl. The cables look identical and fantastic no matter which side you’re looking at!

Suggested yarns: Anything bulky weight.
