The Flame of a Candle is a crescent-shaped lace shawl; it is worked from the center back of the neck down to the border

YARN USED: The sample shown was knitted in Limageda Linen Yarn (600 m / 656 yds per 100 g).
150 g (900 m / 984 yds) was used for the shawl as shown.

FINISHED SIZE: 82 cm (32 ¼ inches) deep and 164 cm (64 ½ inches) wingspan, relaxed after blocking.
Gauge is not important for this project. Finished size and yarn consumption will depend on the yarn choice, needle size and your individual manner of knitting.

It is recommended to use either light fingering (lace weight) yarn of natural fibers (linen, cotton, and wool) or yarn with the smallest content of synthetic fibers; about 600–800 m / 655–875 yds per 100 g.
