The Forette top is a made to measure and size inclusive pattern, this means you measure yourself and the you follow the instructions from there. The pattern is an intermediate level, however it may be suitable for advanced beginners as I have provided detailed steps and pictures throughout.

You will need any type of 4ply (fingering weight) cotton yarn in 10 colours, a 3.5mm crochet hook, stitch markers and some elastic if your making the Bardot style top. The top uses 10 stitch patterns and each stitch pattern equals 1 colour. The pattern tells you how to attach your next colours with stitches, this making the top seamless. You can make this top short-sleeved, long-sleeved or long flared sleeved, and it has 2 styles of wearing the top, it is a very customizable top.

I used roughly 720m of yarn for the size small (UK 8) short-sleeved and roughly 1000m for the size small (UK 8) long-sleeved flared version.
