Worked up in an engaging but easily memorizable stitch pattern these socks were inspired by vintage hiking socks. Perfect to wear during spring foraging.

Pattern includes the three standard S,M,L sock sizes. I am a tight knitter so included a formula to help you choose your proper size if you don’t knit at a 9sts/in gauge or are new to sock knitting.

While I used a sock set with two contrasting colors to knit my sample it looks just as great in a single skein of sock yarn. It would also be a good way to use up leftovers. I used approximately 10g of each contrast color and 55g of my main color. The texture holds up well in variegated yarns.
