The Fuzz is a slouchy brioche hat designed to play with the contrast of fuzzy, wispy mohair and a more structured fingering weight yarn. My sample hat was knit with three colors but I can just imagine this to be the ultimate stash buster. Try alternating brioche rounds with a different color each time!

To begin you’ll use a provisional cast on to create a structured, soft and warm folded brim. Then you’ll kick it up with some two color brioche in the round! Top it all off with a fuzzy pom or make your own with your leftover yarns.

The pattern as written is for a head sized 22”-24” however it’s super easy to adjust for any size by increasing or decreasing stitch counts in even numbers.

C1 / Stitch Cloud - Approx 170 yards
Lace weight mohair yarn

C2 / Stitch Smooth - Approx 100 yards
Fingering weight yarn

C3 / Stitch Smooth - Approx 40 yards
Fingering weight yarn
