The Garbrick Hat is a tribute to (and in loving memory of) my Auntie, Patty Garbrick (12/4/1951-1/10/2022), and her so very brave & courageous fight with breast cancer. She was, and continues to be, an inspiration to us all. This hat can be used to support anyone touched by this difficult disease, or any other type of cancer, while giving it a special and meaningful touch. The PDF has written instructions as well as graphs. The 4 graphs (and four available sizes: toddler, child/teen, adult, & adult large) can also be used for colorwork. The gauge is six stitches per inch. I invite you to share your completed hat with me - it will mean more than you know.

You will need:

● Up to one skein of Yarnitoli DK (231 yds/100g)

● Size US5 16-inch needles

● 48, 54, 60, 66 (for brim) 324 (for BC symbols) 12, 12, 12, 13 (for decreases) size 6 (or 7) glass beads

● Size US5 DPN’s

● Darning needle, stranding needle (for beads)
