PATTERN OVERVIEW
This scarf and hat are knit in garter stitch with slipped stitches. The hat is worked crown to brim and the scarf lengthwise. The pattern shows the same on both right side and wrong side of garments.

SIZING
Scarf:
7.75 in / 19.4 cm width and 5.5 ft / 1.6 m length.

Hat:
18 (21) 24 in / 45 (52.5) 60 cm
Choose a size with about 2 in / 5 cm negative ease.

GAUGE
2.5 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge
24 sts and 36 rows in 4 in / 10 cm square

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Hat: 175 (194) 215 yds / 160 (177) 197 m
Scarf: 453 yds / 414 m

(The yarn used in this pattern claimed to be DK, but a sport weight or even fingering weight could work just as well.)
