If you use a good strong cotton yarn that doesn’t stretch much, the bag should be able to hold two gallons of milk, or up to 30 pounds of canned goods. They really stretch a lot and nothing falls out. Just wash them with jeans and towels and they shrink back up to their original size. They will last for years.
