A one 100g skein pattern for a compact neck buff / cowl.

This pattern was designed to tuck neatly inside a jacket or wear on its own without getting in the way whilst working.

Its an easy pattern with options to vary it for Aran weight yarn included on the download.

This pattern was designed for my friend who has a very interesting connection to Grytviken in South Georgia, he had asked for a ‘buff’ to wear at work. So I turned to the Polar Explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, who is buried there, for inspiration.
I have used the checkerboard pattern from Shackleton’s Guernsey for this cowl / buff.
I hope you enjoy the pattern. Alice @RockallKnits
