This is my Guardian Owl pattern, he is a large and plump fella that loves to be held and carried around and is also a great comfort to anyone in need of some love and kindness.

His height is 9 inches tall.

I have knitted him in a bulky yarn and he has been test knitted in worsted and chunky yarns too. The chunky yarn owl I knitted is 10.5 inches tall and is also wonderful as a doorstop or scatter cushion.

He is knitted totally in the round on curcular needles with the magic loop technique but can also be knitted with dpns. The wings are sewn on individually. This is such a quick project.

I have used buttons for the eyes and beak but would advise sewing the eyes and beak with yarn instead if this project is for a small child.
