The Happiness Beanie is worked with a twisted rib to start which gives it a lovely generous stretch. When working the colour change section be sure to catch the alternate colour loosely behind the stitches when it is not in use. Catching the yarn too tightly with result in a very stiff fabric without enough stretch for the hat to be worn comfortably. You will need 1x place marker and a tapestry needle for weaving away the ends when required.
