Happy is a fun, cosy and warm cowl that is designed to fit children from 2 years upwards. Its simple design, chunky texture and subtle flecks of colour make it a quick yet interesting knit, perfect as a gift or for your own little person to wear on cold days.

Materials: 100g/one hank of super chunky yarn in colour one (Katia Canada in Dark Grey), 40g of super chunky yarn in colour two (Katia Canada in White), 40cm/16” size 8.00/US 11 circular needle (or size to reach gauge), a yarn needle, a stitch marker.
Skills: Casting on, knitting in the round, invisible join in the round (instructions given), Fair Isle knitting, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, weaving in ends, wet blocking (for best results).
Gauge: 10 sts / 13 rounds in 10x10cm/4” square.
Measurements: Approximately 17cm/7” wide by 21cm/8.2” high after blocking.
