The fabric lining is optional. I think a colourful lining adds a certain professional finished to any bag, and it also helps take the weight of your (yarn) shopping!

Materials:
• Approx 250g/820yds of Light weight yarn in assorted colours
• Size F/5 (3.5mm) crochet hook
• Pair of 20” (50cm) handbag handles with rings
• 20” x 20” (50cm x 50cm) Fabric for lining (optional)
• darning needle
• needle and thread to match lining fabric

The bag pattern starts at the base, which is worked back and forth in rows. Then you will work in joined rounds until the body of the bag reaches the desired length, changing colour every round.

The pattern is written in both USA and British UK crochet terms (two separate Pdfs) in clear, easy to read language. I’ve also included my crochet notes to the pattern so that you can adjust the size of this bag, and to ensure you can relax and crochet with confidence throughout.
