Skill Level: Advanced Beginner / Intermediate (Requires knowledge of short rows and working with slip stitches).

Sizes Included: Newborn up to 2/3 Years Old.

Hook Size: 3.5 mm (US H-8) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn Requirements: Aran weight yarn. The samples in are lovingly worked up in Gazzal Baby Wool XL, but any soft, next-to-skin Aran weight yarn will work beautifully.

Construction: Worked flat/sideways in slip stitch BLO. The heels shaped using increases/decreases and toes are elegantly shaped using short rows to ensure a perfect, anatomical fit with zero bulky seams.

• What You Need to Know*

A Note on Technique: If you’ve never crocheted an entire project in slip stitch, you’re in for a treat! The resulting fabric has incredible elasticity and drape, mimicking a 1x1 knit rib. Keeping your tension relaxed is the secret to success with this technique.
