The Heart Collector CAL is a design collaboration between the designer From Moström With Love, the design team at Gicona and the yarn store Favoritgarner. The pattern is divided into 3 parts and will be released Friday July 28, August 4 and August 11.

Crochet along with us in the Facebook group Virka med Favoritgarner (Swedish for Crochet with Favoritgarner). The group has about 15 000 members and the language is Swedish but you can write in English.

The shawl can be done in 3 sizes, small, medium and large. Size S fits children up to 7 years (about 130 cm long). Size M fits older children and small/short adults, but if you are over 160 cm long the size L will have a better fit.

With Favoritgarners multi coloured cake yarn Favoritkakan (3ply) the smallest ”S” measures approx. 100 cm between the wings. The middle size ”M” is approx. 130 cm and the largest size ”L” is approx. 170 cm. Other suggested yarn is Whirl. The shawls in the photos are all either Favoritkakan or Whirl (some with Whirlette). Photos and yarn facts are included in the pattern.

One ball of Favoritkakan is all you need. 1 x 1000 meter-ball for the size S, 1 x 2000 meter-ball for the size M and 1 x 3000 meter-ball for the size L. See Favoritkakans colour combinations HERE (Swedish language)

The heart should be made with a smaller hook size. With Favoritkakan use 1,5 - 2,0 mm for the heart and then 3,0 mm. With Whirl use 2,0 mm for the heart and then 3,5 mm
