The Heath Sweater is inspired by the moorland in the Peak District in late summer; dense heather and craggy gritstone under heavy, overcast skies.

Design: The Heath Sweater is an argyle design that is knitted in intarsia and constructed in panels. The sweater has a crew neck, drop shoulders and a boxy fit.

Construction: The back panel is knitted first using GSR for shaping the shoulders and armhole shaping is created using the backwards loop cast on method. Then the shoulders are worked by picking up stitches across the shoulder seams. The two front shoulder panels are joined together and the front panel is knitted. The arms are created using stitches picked up on the sides of the front and back panels. Surface duplicate stitch is applied and the sweater is ribbed and sewn up.
