The Henrietta Blouse
Construction
The Henrietta Blouse is worked flat and bottom-up, starting with the ruffled trim. An I-Cord edge and buttonholes are worked on one end of the body, along with waist-shaping increases that occur on the same row. After the main body piece is done, the armholes are shaped and joined at the shoulders. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked using German Short Rows and stitches are picked up around the neckline to create a neat I-Cord edge.
