-This scarf starts with a cast on of the bottom ruffle. After the ruffle a slip stitch pattern is worked to the other end, where you finish with another ruffle.

• The pattern uses two colors of yarn. One a self-striping yarn and one a solid yarn. You will need 230 yards of each color.

-The gauge is a loose gauge, giving the scarf a wonderful drape and soft hand.

When I watched the movie, The Holiday, with Kate Winslet, she wore some very pretty scarves. I was inspired by those scarves to design this one.
