The Holly is a baby cardigan that’s knitted top down. At the underarms stitches are placed on holders for the sleeves, then the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down too and are seamless.

A simple leaf pattern with colourful red beads on the yoke makes the Holly cardigan ideal for the festive season!

You need 2 x 50g balls for the main colour and 1 x 50g for contrasting colour for all sizes (although you use little of the contrasting colour).

16 - 17 - 18 beads (5mm or 3/16in) are added to the design.

Skill level: intermediate. Knitters need to be familiar with stranded knitting and be able to follow a chart on a purl row.
