The Hovsepian Vest
This vest is knitted 2 stranded (or 1 stranded for those who prefer) from the bottom up in two panels. It was originally designed to have a few cm negative ease, but feel free to size up. We start at the bottom with 2x2 ribbing and make our way up in stockinette. When we reach the armhole, we start decreasing and then increase again, to get a beautiful curve around the shoulder/bust area. We then shape the neck and work the left and right shoulders separately. We don’t cast off just yet, but put our stitches aside for a 3-needle-bind off which will help us get a more accurate and beautiful seam. Which means no seeming at the shoulders so YAY!
I have added links to the pattern at different stages if you should need any help! And of course, you can always contact me via Instagram (@lisuknits) or via Email if something is unclear. (Address attched in the pattern)
I really hope you love this vest as much as I do! <3

Types of Yarn:
Any Worsted, Aran weight yarn that matches gauge will do. If you would like a fluffier texture, I would recommend knitting double stranded with any type of Mohair or Suri Alpaca.
Needles:
4mm/US 6 circular needles. Cord length doesn’t matter very much for the body, since we’re knitting flat, apart from the neckline. Magic loop can be used for the neckline. If you aren’t familiar with this technique, you can also use a 30cm (12 inch) cord or 4mm / US 6 double pointed needles.
