The Hudson Hat is an earflap hat worked seamlessly in the round, from the i-cord ties up. It’s sized newborn through adult — the pattern you reach for every baby shower, every cold season, every skein of handspun that’s too beautiful to sit in a drawer.

The striped construction is designed for colorwork play: swap colors as often as you want, or work it in a single solid. Both are good. The i-cord ties finish with tassels; the top closes with a final i-cord. It’s a satisfying knit with a lot of room to make it yours.
