The Ida Sweater had been designed before Witre Design existed and was the very first design, I ever did. The sizes are therefore graded in a slightly different way to the newer instructions, which can make the sweater look a little large. Therefore, take your own measurements first or those of your favourite sweater and follow the size guide below. Based on these measurements, choose the correct size.

The Ida sweater has a short and wide fit. It goes perfectly with dresses, high-cut trousers or skirts. The sweater is worked bottom up; sleeves and body are knit separately and then joined on one circular needle for the yoke with raglan decreases. As you don’t pick up additional stitches for the neckline, it is very important to work the selvedge stitches neatly. This is further explained in the instruction.

Size guide:
The sweater is designed to be worn with approx. 20-30 cm positive ease (20- 30 cm larger than your bust measurements). The sweater has a wide and loose fit, perfect for the boxy and short design.
The stated measurement on the front page is for the finished garment.
