A golden crown studded with precious stones. This is the effect that I wanted to create when I started working this design. A beanie rich of texture, bobbles, braids and colorwork.

I designed this beanie primarily for a super bulky yarn like Malabrigo Rasta but I included the instructions also for bulky and light bulky yarns like Malabrigo Chunky and Mecha.

The pattern comes with a video tutorial showing some steps of the instructions.

Skill level: intermediate

Yarn
For this project you need yarn in three different colors C1, C2 and C3. C1 is used as main color, C2 is used for the bobbles in the brim and C3 is used as background color.
For the beanie in the first photo I used Malabrigo Rasta in the colors Sunset as C1, Reflecting Pool as C2 and Sabiduria as C3.

Super bulky: C1: 52 yards / 48 meters; C2: 6 yards / 6 meters; C3: 30 yards / 28 meters
