The Irish Shores blanket is based on a travel story to the coasts of Northern Ireland. It was the seventh chapter of my book Journey and Crochet Journey. The books are retiring soon; therefore, the patterns are also available individually as a download.

Scheepjes Skies Heavy comes in hanks of 100 grams with a length of 185 yards of yarn. The yarn consists out of 100% premium blend cotton.

This yarn is discontinued in the meantime. A good alternative has been found in Malabrigo Rios hand-dyed yarns.
