SKILL LEVEL: easy - only stitches needed are single crochet, waistcoat stitch & slip stitch.

YARN NEEDED: I recommend using a thicker yarn, I used Lion Brand Just Hemp yarn which is a bulky/weight 5 yarn. Thicker yarns like this will allow the bag to have some structure and prevent gaps in the fabric. (the bag can be made with ANY yarn - this is just what I recommend. Using a different yarn will also change final measurements)

MATERIALS:

  • 6.00mm hook
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle

NOTES:

  • bag is built from the bottom up and worked in the round.
  • strap is added on at the end and is adjustable - you can adjust the width/length of the strap or even create 2 straps if desired.

SIZE: If using the same or similar yarn, measurements will be about 15” tall (without strap) by 12.5” wide. Measurements will vary if different yarns are used. The larger the yarn, the larger the bag and vice versa.
