| C A R E | For maintenance you can vacuum your rug, or hang your rug up outdoors and beat out the dust and dirt. Jute does not do well with water because water tends to weaken the fibers, so spot cleaning is the best way to maintain your rug. Only wash by hand in cool water if needed, and hang the rug to dry. Do not wring or twist your rug, as this could compromise the integrity of the fabric.
