The Kaleidoscope is a baby / toddler / young child’s pullover that’s knitted top down with a segmented yoke. At the underarms stitches are placed on holders for the sleeves, then the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down too and are seamless.

Knitters can choose to add short rows to raise the back and / or add some colourful hem edging.

The whole pullover is knitted with 2 yarns held together. For the yoke one strand is a variegated yarn and worked in garter stitch, creating interesting colour changes and texture. Like all kaleidoscopes, it is simple, magical and fun!

Note: a variegated yarn with different colours to the main colour will result in a more contrasting yoke.
