Kepi is a name for a French military hat with a circular top and brim. This is my pattern for a modern, updated version with a slight military look, but lots of punch and panache for a unique feminine statement.

The visor of this hat has the unique “snap” and curvature of a ballcap. “It’s not straight across and in your face like so many other crochet brims.” says a happy customer.

It’s also a perfect pattern for advanced beginners or higher skill levels. Works up in about 2 hours (or LESS!) Great for gift giving, or accessorizing your own wardrobe in all colors of the rainbow. Add a crocheted flower, or a ribbon bow, even a pompom. The possibilities are endless….
