This knit, Japanese knot bag pattern is sized for use as a small project bag or handbag. It is worked in the round, from the bottom up. The stitch pattern includes both charted and written instructions. The wrong side of the stitch pattern is almost as pretty as the right side, so if finished neatly, the bag could be reversible.

To secure and carry the bag simply pull the long strap through the short strap.

The pattern is written in needle neutral terms and can be worked on dpns or circular needles with your favorite small circumference circular knitting method.
