Embodying relaxing weekend getaways at the lake and the elegant drape of Merino silk fiber, this is my Lakeway Shawl pattern. The design is a knit intarsia colorwork shawl inspired by the ripples a gentle breeze creates on the glassy surface of a quiet lake, intricately carved ebony wood combs, and graphic African beadwork. The endless high contrast color combinations you can choose will make beautifully crisp lines to define these geometric diamond and irregular hexagon motifs. It’s the perfect project for transitional seasons, evenings with a chill in the air, or a breezy lakeside walk!
