The Landsraad was created as an equivalent to modern day NATO where an attack against one member was an attack against all, mostly to protect
members from the Imperial house getting too powerful. The biggest fear was exactly what happened to House Attreides, that the Emperor would
use the feared Sardakar to eliminate one of the great houses. The Landsraad has earned a spot in the antagonists since they never came to the
Attreides’ aide. This pattern would be both a great way to showcase color-shifting yarns or use up scraps shifting colors after every 7 rounds of the
chart, just make sure you have good contrast between colors. The chart is supposed to looks like rows of futuristic houses, based on color choices
the little windows will show if their “light is on”. The cuff is supposed to look “structural” where pillars (each house of the Landsraad) hold up the
arches, working together to bear the weight. Pattern is worked from an “anatomical toe” up to a gusset heel and textured cuff.
