The Language of Tulips Blanket
Uk and US Terminology
This is a written crochet pattern with step-by-step photos and symbol-style charts. Separate versions using both US and UK crochet terminology are included. I do NOT offer video tutorials for this design.
The pattern combines many simple stitches with playful use of post stitches and popcorns that twist and turn in all directions—even post stitches worked over post stitches! I would classify this as an advanced pattern.
The design is written for one size, but you can easily adjust it by choosing different yarn weights and hook sizes.
For the sample, I used Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply Cotton. You can use any suitable yarn, though solid colours or slow gradient yarns will showcase the texture and detail best.
