You will need 1 full skein (approx. 245 yds ) of a main color in DK weight as well as 4 contrasting colors (approx. 45 yds each). This will be enough yarn to make the hat and 1 pair of mittens!

Needles: Both size 3.75mm (US5) and 4.5mm (US7) for knitting in the round.
