In the Odyssey Odysseus and his men came across a race of people who ate only the louts plants that grew in abundance there which had a narcotic effect upon them. Naturally, they’d be too sleepy to finish more than one hat and would have to share.

This hat is what happened when I decided the design of an earring would look good cabled. It is top-down and charted.

Difficulty: Advanced Intermediate. Must like cables.
Materials: 200-225 yds of wool-based DK weight yarn, tapestry needle, cable needle (optional).

Designer not responsible for any soporific effects felt upon wearing hat.
